In the early years of the twentieth century, one of the bloodiest centuries in all of human history, God sent His Mother Mary to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, with a message of His
unfailing love and mercy for all people.
On May 13, 1917, and then once again each month through October, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Lucia dos Santos (age 10) and to her cousins Francisco (age 9) and Jacinta Marto (age 7).
Each apparition was a visitation of love. Through these simple shepherds, the world was called back to God. The message and events in Fatima were nothing short of prophetic and continue to grow in their importance today.
May 13, 1997, marked the 80th anniversary of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal.
On this anniversary, the Our Lady of Fatima Home Visitation Program, which is dedicated to spreading the message of Fatima and encouraging personal consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, was introduced.
The Our Lady of Fatima Home Visitation provides traveling Pilgrim Virgin Statues of Our Lady of Fatima to those interested in helping promote the message of Our Lady and her requests in Fatima. To
accompany each traveling pilgrim statue a "supply box" has been organized.

“We would be mistaken to think that Fatima’s prophetic mission is complete....May the seven years which separate us from the centenary of the apparitions hasten the fulfillment of the prophecy of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to the glory of the Most Holy Trinity."
