The Mission of the Our Lady of Fatima Home Visitation Program is to foster devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and evangelize and catechize people of all ages on the message of Fatima as a teaching especially pertinent for our times. We do this by:
“We judge it right to declare as worthy of credence the visions of the children in the Cova da Iria, parish of Fatima, of this Diocese, on the thirteenth day of each month from May to October 1917.” José Alves Correia da Silva, Fatima, Portugal, October 13,1930
“Like the beloved disciple we welcome Jesus’ mother into our homes, for she has become the mother of all the living. We can pray with and to her.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, para. 2679.
“…while the message of Our Lady of Fatima is a motherly one, it is also strong and decisive…. It calls to prayer. It recommends the Rosary.” Pope John Paul II, Homily at Mass in Fatima May 13, 1982.
“As Pope Paul has reminded us, the rosary and the scapular are among these tested forms of devotion that bring us closer to Christ through the example and protection of His Holy Mother.” National Conference of Catholic Bishops, Behold Your Mother, Woman of Faith, Chapter 4, para. 93
"A medal must be struck upon this model; those who wear it indulgenced, and repeat this prayer* with devotion, will be, in a special manner, under the protection of the Mother of God.” Blessed Virgin Mary, The Miraculous Medal, M. Aladel, C.M. p. 49 ©1880
