Program History

May 13, 1997, marked the 80th anniversary of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal. These apparitions revealed God’s plan to bring peace to our chaotic world and the salvation of every soul.

To commemorate this anniversary and initiate a program dedicated to spreading the message of Fatima through visitations of a traveling Pilgrim Virgin Statue, an all-night vigil of Eucharistic Adoration was held, followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Servant of God, Father John A. Hardon, S.J., and the late Father Valerian Rykowski concelebrated this special Mass in honor of Our Lady of Fatima.

At the conclusion of Mass, a Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima was blessed and crowned by Father Hardon to commence its journey into the homes and families of metropolitan Detroit, Michigan. Almost immediately more statues were needed to accommodate the large number of requests for visitations both in Michigan and throughout the United States as the program quickly spread.

In addition, Father Hardon directed that a "supply box" be organized to accompany each traveling Pilgrim Virgin Statue. Each supply box contains information to explain the message of Fatima, the Rosary, the Brown Scapular, and the Miraculous Medal. Those who welcome Our Lady are invited to keep the sacramentals and pamphlets they need for use after the visit is completed.

What began as a small, local project has grown into a national program. Today, there are hundreds of statues from the Our Lady of Fatima Home Visitation Program traveling throughout the United States.

Angel's Prayer

We also have supplies available for larger quantities of packets. Please contact us!

Oh Most Holy Trinity,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
I adore Thee profoundly.
I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world,
in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended.
By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

Amen.

Pardon Prayer

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love Thee!
I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust and do not love Thee.
(say 3 times)
